 Research Grant Applications

Mission

The Morton Cure Paralysis Fund is committed to finding a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other disorders of the central nervous system.   It is also a community of people that provides informational and emotional support to those affected by paralysis.

Strategy

MCPF supports cutting-edge ideas, enabling researchers to gather the proof-of-concept data needed to pursue multimillion dollar grants from large financiers such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and the National Science Foundation.  In effect, MCPF helps place new research products in the investigation pipeline.

 Fundraiser is a Success!

The Morton Cure Paralysis Fund’s 13th Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser was a huge success with great attendance and purpose.  The weather threatened all day, yet it only drizzled for the last couple holes.  Participants supported the cause by purchasing mulligan’s, raffle tickets, apparel and by bidding on silent auction items.  Bill Morton wrapped up the dinner program with his poignant story of being a parent of a son with a spinal cord injury.  He shared his journey and how he dealt with his anger while getting to a place where he began to heal.

Thanks to all who participated and volunteered to help move spinal cord injury research forward!  A good time was had by all!
