IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT CHRISTOPHER REEVE
We are delighted to share some wonderful news about the progress our Chairman, Christopher Reeve, is making in his physical recovery. As you ay have seen in news stories that broke today, Christopher has regained some movement in his extremities and has recovered physical sensation in much of his body, progress his doctors consider nothing short of extraordinary.
According to CRPF Spokeswoman Margaret Goldberg, "Although Mr. Reeve cannot walk, he has regained the ability to move his right wrist, the fingers of his left hand and his feet. He can now feel a pin prick on the majority of his body and can move some of his joints voluntarily. He can also move other joints against resistance." If you have a moment, visit our Web site for more details:
It was in fact our plan to notify you and other members of the CRPF family before the news media learned of Christopher's progress, but as happens sometimes, the story broke prematurely.
